• Introducing: Sex Panther Cologne

  Looks like it’s officially “time to musk-up”: After a long wait, Sex Panther Cologne is finally available for purchase.

  For those of you who may have missed it (read: haven’t seen the movie “Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy” eighty-zillion times… or even once, for that matter), the once-fictitious Sex Panther Cologne is featured prominently in the 2004 film, where it is described as smelling like, among other even Iess-charitable (and unpublishable) things, “pure gasoline.”

• Karl’s Kapsule

  We at The Daily Spritz love us some Karl Lagerfeld. Which is why we were delighted to hear that The Kaiser’s latest project — a unisex fragrance trio called “Kapsule” — is hitting shelves next month. The collection includes the scents Woody, Light, and Floriental, and were formulated to be worn alone or layered. Woody features notes of cedar, moss, and plum. Light has bitter orange, jasmine, nutmeg, clove, and musk. Floriental is comprised of of ivy leaf, violet and black tea leaf notes.

  Uncle Karl is not new to the fragrance biz. Chloe, Lagerfeld, and Sun Moon Stars are just a few of his former creations, and he’s has been quoted as saying, “I love the world of perfumes. For me, the world of fashion doesn’t exist without it.”

  The Kapsule scents are reported to be utterly wearable, and reflect his own perfume preferences. While he shuns overly floral fragrances, Karl’s favorite scents include fresh bread, vanilla, and spices.

  This seems to us like a form of torture, though, since we’ve heard he’s all but given up eating food. (Unless you count Protein Sachets.) Either way, we can’t wait to try the Kapsule Collection. We’ll wear it as an “Eau’d” to Karl.

  God Bless Karl Lagerfeld. Who else would take a gorgeous supermodel like Angela Lindvall and have her walk the runway with a bag obstructing her face? Not just any bag, mind you, but one featuring his likeness. This, of course, is just what he did as part of his Spring 2009 show on Wednesday. Amazing.

  Tamara Mellon — co-founder of luxury shoe empire Jimmy Choo — has recently been appointed to Revlon’s Board of Directors. The worldwide cosmetics company hopes to use her business brains and glamorous touch to strengthen and grow sales.

  With all of the shiny new products Revlon’s got on the market, I thought I’d take a step back and rediscover some of their classics:
