Things I’m not that good at in the summer:
Good hair days (hello, frizz halo!). Not being too sweaty or grumpy about being sweaty. Remembering sunscreen. Badminton.
And here’s where I excel:
Relaxing like the quintessential Summer Girl on a porch (back yard? fire escape?) with a delicious summer cocktail.
What can I say–that part just comes natural.
The summer days may be numbered, but it’s not too late to smell like like the best, sexiest summer scent available.

In terms of effortlessness, this is actually way easier than showing up for the Labor Day BBQ. It’s juicy and melon-y and–like Demeter does so well–it smells exactly like it’s namesake drink. Snap it up now because (duh!) who doesn’t want to smell like a delicious sun-soaked cocktail party?
p.s. It doesn’t live on perfume.com, but the quintessential summatime scent of all time could be Beach by Bobbi Brown. It smells 100% like cocoa-butter-on-the-beach, feathered-70s-hair, It’s-August-I-Do-What-I-Want-style freedom than I’ve ever found in a bottle. I swear, I was in a car once on my way to the shore, and the driver–a guy!–pronounced, “Whoa! It totally smells like the beach in here… what gives?”
