  My first bottle of this brilliantly concocted scent was given to me by my aunt over 3 years ago. Up to that point, I had never purchased a perfume twice. Let alone purchased two scents from one designer. But Annick Goutal is a gifted artist, combining perfectly complimentary spices and florals with just the right levels of strength. Le Chevrefeuille is my summer scent, and absolutely the only summer scent I'll even think of wearing. I actually get excited when March rolls around and I have to hop onto perfume.com for my double order (yes, that's right, I said double). Unfortunately, the one down side of this scent is it's staying power. It just doesn't last. I have noticed that slathering on the scented lotion before applying the perfume does help a little. But I'm just so in love with the subtle sensuality of this scent, that the fact that I have to buy it twice as often is just not a deterent for me. In fact, I also purchased L'Hadrien, which I use in the fall. I can't find either of them locally, except at Nordstrom's, and am really not willing to spend an arm and leg and deal with snobby saleswomen when I can just have them personally delivered to my front door the next day. Today I'm re-ordering. Today is a good day. :)
