My Queen Perfume for Women by Alexander Mcqueen Parfums

The enfant terrible of fashion did it again after his memorable foray into fragrance with Kingdom in 2003. My Queen, reprising his last name but also evoking the regal images that run through his fertile imagination, is an unusual and subtle floriental perched on top notes of Parma violets and delicious almond which segue into bittersweet heliotrope and florals (orange blossom, white flowers). But here's the thing: Rupturing the pyramidal structure of classic fragrances as expected by a designer who revolutionised fashions, a four-tier progression reveals itself, as white musks compete for attention at this stage, revealing a powdery, lightly warm and inviting facet. At the very bottom the mysterious smokiness of combined patchouli, vetiver and cedar are mere pawns in the game of iris, an aroma which sweeps the whole composition into purple-hued puffs.
